Mr. Crosby scored the winning goal in overtime. “I want to congratulate Sidney once again for making Nova Scotia, and indeed Canada, proud.” Premier Dexter also recognized Olympic snow boarder Sarah Conrad for her performance at the Games. Dexter said that Ms. Conrad and Mr. Crosby are exceptional athletes who have inspired us and who are role models for thousands of people from across this province. Premier Dexter also congratulated the organizers of the 2010 Games for their efforts in hosting an exceptional event. “Hundreds of volunteers from across Nova Scotia made their way to Vancouver to help put on a show for the world and they to deserve to be recognized,” said the premier. “These Games have united this country and made us even prouder to be Canadian. A group of Muslim Parliamentarians who resigned from their Ministerial posts this week will raise their concerns with the UN and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).Former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen said that they have decided to meet members of diplomatic community in Sri Lanka, meet the UN Resident Representative in Sri Lanka, and also have talks with the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
