Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa started the season as the favorite to win the award and dominated the majority of the regular college football season. It looked like Tua had the award locked up until the SEC title game when he suffered a high ankle sprain and struggled against the Georgia Bulldogs. Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray and Ohio State’s Dwayne Haskins took advantage of their opportunity to strike and now enter a close Heisman race.Alabama fans might be more worried about Tua’s health than his Heisman chances.
